Associations

Since our inception, Louisville Web Group has built more websites for associations than any other business category and it can be attributed to the fact that our CEO Gary Rawlings has spent more than 25 years working with associations in various capacities.

His resume includes:

Here are some examples:

My first position in the industry was with the Easter Seal Society, where I served as Regional Director over the 40 eastern Kentucky counties east and including Lexington. In 1978, I joined the United Cerebral Palsy Association. I was their Executive Director and I managed seven regions. Even though UCP was a non-profit, it was also an association because membership in the state association was completely optional and my job was to establish value through fundraising, social functions, training and professional development for the regional directors and their boards.

The National Voluntary Health Agency Association gave me even more experience in association development. I performed the same basic functions as I did with UCPA - I was employed by a Board of Directors, I developed continuing education programs, social programs and fundraising mechanisms.

My last tenure in association management was with the Air Conditioning Contractors Association (ACCA). All these experiences taught me what the needs and expectations are for a trade or non-profit association, putting me in an excellent position to help our association clients meet...and exceed...the expectations of their membership and boards.

If your trade association is in need of a more dynamic website that can help you meet the goals and expectations of your membership and potential membership, give Louisville Web Group a call. I'd be happy to lend my experience to help you create a very special web footprint.
