If you've been around the Web as long as I have, you've seen quite an evolution. Sure the platforms have improved - most of the best CMS platforms include Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Dot Net Nuke and Microsoft's Orchard are probably the best known but their improvement over the years has been remarkable. Today, almost all web sites are built in one of these CMS' or Content Management Systems.
