UX Navigation

Navigation problems have caused many websites to fall short of expectations. People don't mind clicking a few times, but today's web visitors can quickly grow impatient, causing them to leave your website and probably never return unless they have no other choice.

Web 2.0 is a philosophy to which we subscribe. Web 2.0 standards dictate that a viewer should only have to click 2 times to find what they are looking for. Sometimes a viewer won't mind clicking 3 times, but beyond that, you have a high risk of losing that potential customer.

There are many types of navigation schemes but regardless of the type of navigation you choose, it's vital that you make sure viewers can find the information they seek quickly and efficiently. The biggest challenge is getting your potential customers to find your website in the first place. You don't want to lose them because your navigation is confusing.
